Cooking and Cathedral
Hola! We are in the middle of the week here in Sevilla, but wow have we had an action-packed week already. On Tuesday, we went into the famous Cathedral in Sevilla. Students were surprised to learn that Christopher Columbus is burried here. Students awed at the incredible architecture from floor to ceiling. Attached to the Cathedral is a HUGE tower called La Giralda. Students were able to climb up the tower and take a look at the city from a different perspective. It was a tough climb up, but students said it was worth it!
Today, we attended a cooking class lead by a Spanish chef. The group had a Master Chef competiton where they made two traditional Spanish dishes. I was lucky enough to be one of the judges :) Ask your student to make you some tortilla Española when they return.. all of them did a great job!!
