Bienvenidos a Sevilla
Hola everyone! Our first week here in Sevilla has been hot, tiring, and fun! Yesterday, we took a long tour around the beautfiul city. There is so much to see here!! Students are quickly able to navigate the twists and turns of the busy streets all on their own-it´s crazy! One of the components of this program is engaging with the community in conversation. Today, the students had to go into a store and inquire information about the item, and then choose whether they would like to make the purchase, or not. Vicky used her language skills to purchase some super cute new sunglasses. Afterwards she said "look! I´m getting better!" It is so awesome to see these young people strenghtening their Spanish skills!
