¡Bienvenidos a Alicante!
Our Alicante adventure started at the airport in Boston, MA where 24 students met to fly to Madrid with their Program Leaders Guillermo, Pablo, Carmen y Kelly. While they waited for the flight, the students played games and started getting to know each other. Once in Madrid, we took a shuttle bus to Atocha station to board the high-speed train AVE to Alicante. In Alicante we were greeted by Antonio, program coordinator, who brought us to the hotel. Later students experienced the Spanish cuisine with a delicious paella at a local restaurant. After lunch, students went on a double-decker bus tour of the city. The day ended at a beautiful beach in Alicante. Busy and fun day!
