Art, History and Tapas!
What a day! We began with a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts where we saw the work of Bartolome Esteban Murillo, famed baroque artist of Sevilla, among countless other works. Once a monestary, the building itself was it's own work of art.
We then dove into the world of tapas at one of my favorite restaurants/tapas bars in Sevilla, El Patio de San Eloy. Students completed a communication task where they needed to discuss eating preferences or ask other preparation questions with the waiter, individually order food and deal with change all in Spanish. Not only was everyone successful with the task, but the results were quite delicious.
