My name is Maria and I grew up in Davenport, Iowa. My family moved to Des Moines, Iowa when I was in high school and then I went to school in Grinnell, Iowa. Although I have a strong love for Iowa, I wanted to experience living in another country, and with my interest in teaching, CIEE Teach in Spain seemed like a perfect fit.
