Pisac, Peru
Hometown: Cary, NC

¡Bienvenidos todos! I am very excited to tell all of you about all of our adventures this summer in Pisac, Perú! I am from a small town and started learning Spanish when I was in middle school. Fast forward many years and I have been teaching high school Spanish to middle schoolers for going on 8 years. The global navigator program is my dream job. To mix teaching and share this experience with students is maravilloso. I am the NCSU educator of the year for 2019. I also have a sociedad Hispánica de amistad at my middle school called Logon Middle, we are the sociedad azulitos. This year we won activity of the year and one of my students won the AATSP poster contest! I also have a wonderful husband of going on 7 years, two small boys, James and Robert who are 2 and 1 year old respectively. I love to travel, spend time with family and friends, read, and experience new things!
