Teach in Thailand Thailand
Hometown: Amherst, NH

Sặwặdee Kà!

Hi my name is Alex and I am currently a Kindergarten teacher in Thailand! This past spring, I graduated from a small New England college, called Saint Anselm College. I graduated with my teaching certifications in Elementary Education and English Speakers of Other Languages. I decided to start my teaching career in Thailand to challenge myself and grow both as an individual and educator. And of course to make new friends and see the world!! Right now I live in a town called Chiang Kham, in the northern district Phayao. I love living in Northern Thailand because every day I get to see the beautiful mountains and rice paddies that surround my town. My teaching placement is also an incredibly positive part of this experience! , I teach morning kindergarten and afternoon kindergarten at a private school! I teach my students both math and English. On the weekends I travel around Thailand with the friends that I made during orientation and sometimes my school coordinator takes me to travel with her. It is certainly one thing to travel to another country, but it is another to be able to live and work in that country. It is an experience that I am so grateful for everyday!! I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures.
