The Destination
Welcome to Seville and Palma de Mallorca, two Spanish tourism hot spots.
Once the capital of Muslim Spain and a gateway for ships headed to the Americas, Seville is immersed in historical allure. At the mouth of the Guadalquivir River, the country’s only navigable river, it has stood as the economic heart of southern Spain for centuries. Celebrated for its hospitality, Seville epitomizes the very essence of Andalusia. Prepare to be mesmerized by flamenco rhythms, exquisite mosaics, and the echoes of Moorish splendor that grace the city.
It’s easy to fall in love with Palma de Mallorca, the stunning Balearic Island off the east coast of Spain. You can wander in any direction and be mesmerized by scenic coves, exquisite limestone mountains, luscious greenery, and a sea so clear that you can see the grains of sand at the bottom of the sea. You’ll experience the spirited vibe and Mediterranean flair of streets filled with stylish boutiques, quirky shops, art galleries, and artisanal bakeries. Be sure to take a picture there of the tallest Gothic structure in Europe—La Seu cathedral.

Sample Activities
Just imagine all the fun you’ll have!
- Cool off and paddle on a kayak along the Guadalquivir River. Admire Seville’s riverside sites, like the Triana district.
- Visit the breathtaking beauty of the Alhambra palace, the most visited monument of Spain and a true masterpiece of Muslim art in Europe, on an overnight trip to Granada.
- In Cadiz, the oldest continuously inhabited city in Spain, taste some of the best candy of Andalusia. Climb the Tavira tower for the best views of the sea.
- Take a boat ride to the uninhabited island of Sa Dragonera, swarming with Lilford’s wall lizards. These reptiles look like miniature dragons and cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
- Dive into the blue water of Cabrera National Park and watch the colorful fish dance with you in the waves. Who knows? You might also encounter an inquisitive octopus.
- Overnight at La Victoria natural area in Alcudia between the mountains and sea. Maneuver down a rocky path to the beach of Coll Baix. Snorkel, swim, kayak, and paddleboard. Sail back in a private boat.
