We're All Here!
After some flight delays and sitting in airports, everyone is here! Yesterday the students who arrived had the chance to meet their host families and get some rest. Students enjoyed some delicious Moroccan food and got to explore Mohammedia some with their families. The students who arrived today met up with their host families and roommates and now everyone is settled in and starting to make connections with their families. Despite being tired, everyone is doing a great job of trying to pick up some new Moroccan words to add to their vocabulary and communicate even better with their host families.
Today, students had the opportunity to meet some of their local Moroccan peers and explore the city. The students had an awesome time making new friends and getting to know Mohammedia better. I've included some pictures from the photo scavenger hunt competition that we had today. The winning team is getting a tasty, ice cream prize!
We're all so excited for the next three weeks!
