Week Two Art Workshops
We are already halfway through our second week in Madrid, time is flying! This week our art workshops have helped us to dive deeper into our craft. We started painting our ceramic tiles using a technique from medieval times. After learning about cubism and Picasso techniques at the Reina Sofia Musuem, we put our knowledge to work using this technique in our painting workshop. We were pushed to think outside the box and use our imagination. In our jewelry workshop, we tried or hand at plexiglass and wire. We were able to create beautiful earrings, bracelts, and pendants for necklaces. Each workshop allows us to build on our previous knowledge and explore more of our creativity.
