Visiting Troia's Roman Ruins
Written by: Jennifer M. & Jasmin R.
Today, June 28th, we started our morning getting prepared to start our final group projects. We spent the morning working in groups and engaging in topics such as biodiversity, tourism, and climate change. We have been learning about these topics during class and on our own time as well.
After we finished lunch we went on a ferry to see Troia's Roman ruins where we learned about their conservation and importance to Portuguese culture. After spending time at the ruins, we had a bus ride to Praia (beach) da Comporta. We spent time at that beach cooling off after a hot day in Portugal.
Lastly, we went to a Brazilian buffet and had dinner after a long day of learning.
