Tuesday at Musée d'Orsay
Tuesday part of our group went to Musée d'Orsay for a group visit. This museum building was originally a train station. This is where you will find the largest collection of impressionist and post-Impressionist masterpieces in the world, by painters including Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, Gauguin, and Van Gogh. Students were to explore the museum and find a painting or sculpture that they connected with or represented who they are and take a photo of it. Afterwards, they shared their photos with their classmates and their program leaders and explained why they chose that particular work of art! Everyone had a lovely time exploring the Impressionist art and visiting this beautiful museum.
