Scavenger Hunt around Toulouse
Un Jeu de Piste à Toulouse !
Friday, our students were treated to a fun interactive way to make their way through the city with a Jeu de Piste, or a scavenger hunt. Our four French professors created a scavenger hunt that took students on a fun tour of the city. The four teachers split the groups up so that students had a chance to work with kids they may not have had the chance to spend much time with before.
The students began with a cheer of “Allez! C’est parti!” All of the groups had around two and a half hours to visit all of their sites and complete their mission! They were graded on two criteria. The first criteria was on how fast they completed their mission, and the second was on how accurate their answers were to the scavenger hunt questions. Prizes were awarded to the top three teams. However, each participant received a lovely post card of Toulouse when they finished the scavenger hunt!
Vocabulaire important:
Dépêchez-vous! – Hurry up ! (Remember, this is a race!)
Le prix- The prize
Une carte postale- a post card
