Oh my! The Eiffel Tower!
Paris Session Two students have embarked upon their first visit of the beautiful "city of lights" by taking a boat ride down the Seine River! On a hot, sunny day in Paris, the clouds and the breeze were a warm welcome but did not even compare to the excitement upon seeing the famous Eiffel Tower! Much to the surprise of the students, they learned that the Eiffel Tower, that attracts many tourists around the world today, was not even liked by the Parisians when completed in 1889. As the students cruised down the Seine, they saw the smallest house in Paris, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Pont Neuf, the Orsay museum, and the Louvre. The adventures are just beginning!
