We began our day waving goodbye to Setúbal as we headed back to beginning of our journey, Lisbon. Our morning was filled with reflection and lessons learned throughout the program. We even conducted awards for students and their futures ahead, with medals made by program leaders and awards submitted by students.
We spent the afternoon exploring ocean habitats and animals at the Lisbon Oceanarium. Students were fascinated by the sharks, otters, fluorescent coral and hundreds of beautiful creatures we saw!
The night ended in a beautiful farewell dinner, plenty of tears, and lots of photos. We climbed back on the bus ready to pack and to head home from a great adventure. Thanks for everything Portugal, we've made amazing memories and life long friends!
