Making Sushi!!
The first excursion of week 4 for the level 2 language groups was SUSHI MAKING. The sushi master spoke only in Japanese as he instructed the students, so they had to really test their listening skills! They made both maki-sushi (巻き寿司 rolls) and nigiri sushi (握り寿司 individual pieces). The students worked diligently to make their sushi correctly. After working so hard, staff provided soy sauce (醤油 shoyu) and chopsticks (お箸 ohashi) and served tea (お茶 ocha), allowing the students to enjoy the sushi they had created!
