Our participants went to Rabat beach a little history......

it’s unusual to have a capital city set by the seaside, and it’s a lovely feature of Rabat. Hitting the beach is a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city center ­– and the breeze coming off the Atlantic is a great way to cool off in the summer.

The gently curving beach is clean, well kept, and is used for a variety of purposes. Families, holidaymakers, surfers, and walkers can be seen on the sands almost all year round, while if you’re prepared to travel a few miles further south or north you’ll find quieter beaches to enjoy.

They started off the day at 8:00 am to take advantage of the beach as on the weekends it can get very crowded. They went on with their Surfing lessons as they learned how to get on and get off. Everyone enjoyed the activity and for some newcomers " They are now surfers for life".

After a nice day of sunbathing and surf. they went on to have a traditional Moroccan breakfast where they became familiar with the local names of the ingredients and items that a typical Moroccan breakfast consists of.
