Le Musée: On l’adore!
As the sounds, sights, and smells of summer explode around us in Rennes, so too does the joy of the students as we launch ourselves into this weeks themes of Art and Discovery.
To celebrate, our students enjoyed a tour of the Musée de Beaux Arts where they spent the day perusing the artworks, ranging from ancient Egyptian archaeology to modern art to classic art. Students flexed their language skills by presenting to the program leader which was their favorite piece in the museum- and program leaders were impressed with the depth of their discussion.
After the visit, students left with a greater appreciation for art and culture in Rennes- and the language skills to discuss it!
