Language Exchange with Local Students
Last week student had the opportunity to put their Spanish skills to the test. After finishing classes and walking down to the microcentro, students met with local Argentine high school students that are learning English. The idea of the activity was for our students to practice Spanish and Argentine students practice their English as well as learn about each other's countries. Some students were nervous at first not sure of what they would talk about or if they could understand everything. However, everyone ended up having a great time sharing their culture, teaching new words, and making new friends.
