A Journey to Scandinavia!
Only a few days into our Multi-Site Global Entrepreneurship Program, Denmark, the first location of our 3-country tour and a nation of only 5.4 million inhabitants, has lived up to its reputation as being one of the "happiest countries in the world" and proven itself to be the land of "hygge;" colorfully crafted homes on cobbled streets; prized and unparalleld, world-class architecture; home of the world-renown Little Mermaid statue; and so much more. From our time in class being instructed on the basics of the Danish language, as well as the fundamentals of global entrepreneurship and what it effectively entails within an international context to a jaw-dropping tour of Copenhagen via canal cruise to a visit to the Danish Architecture Center to a walking tour of the city showcasing the Danish Parlaiment, Queen Margrethe II's Royal Residence, the Royal Danish Library (Black Diamond extension), Denmark has thus far enthralled, excited, provoked, delighted, satisifed, and enraptured!
