¡Hasta pronto!
All experiences must come to a close, and as part of the send-off, students and staff gathered in a traditional Yucatecan restaurant, "Museo de la Gastronomía de Yucateca." Students dressed up and sampled traditional dishes, as well toured an exhibit of ingredients used in Yucatecan cuisine. One of the classes also surprised their program leader with a birthday cake to celebrate her special day. The evening was a sweet ending to a month full of fun, learning, and adventure! The CIEE staff look forward to welcoming students back to Mérida in the future!
