First Day In Palma!
They made it!
After a longer than expected trip, the students finally made it to the beautiful island of Mallorca in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Many of our students are coming from all over the United States, some traveling for 1+ days to get to Palma. As you could imagine, the kids were exhausted, but all were very excited to get the program started! We began by walking to one of the main parks in the city center, where we played “ice breaker” games to get to know each other. After getting more acquainted with each other, we walked to a local Mallorcan restaurant where we ate the typical Sunday Spanish dish “Paella.” The kids were stuffed, and being exhausted from the past two days when straight to bed. We are very excited to get the program started here in Palma!
