Fashion, Culture and Friends: Student Takeover by Ciara

Recently we have made our way through our numerous Arrondisements, taking in the beauty and recognizing what each one offers. From the YSL ( Yves Saint Laurent) to every day class we have accumulated a lot of knowledge relating to fashion. This program in particular offers a lot of free time, encouraging our curiousity towards the Parisian life style.
Coming into this program I knew little to nothing about fashion and the culture of Paris. Now two weeks in, I not only have a grasp on things, but have created lifelong friendships. The CIEE program has given me a better understanding for my future, but also given me opportunities to step outside my confort zone. The best part of my days always end with long dinners surrounded by my friends filled with joy, laughter and genuine conversation.
Since being here I have appreciated having conversation and being present in the moment. As these moments, in the CIEE program, are once in a lifetime moments.
