An examination of the human body – A visit to Body Worlds Amsterdam
On Wednesday, June 22nd, the Queer Life and Activism student had an eventful day exploring the mysteries of the human body. Earlier in the day, everyone was treated to a visit to the queer achieves at the OBA Oosterdok - Public Library. The visit was eye opening and “interesting” for everyone.
After a quick lunch stop at The Craftsmen Kitchen, in downtown Amsterdam, the students made their way to the Body Worlds Museum. It was an interesting adventure through all 6 floors of the museum. We learned a lot how our body functions, and even got to be hands on with some instruments. If one had a dollar for every "Wow," "OMG," and "Ewww," then that person would be a millionare.
