Ethnic Diversity in China
We visited Beijing's Ethnic Culture Park which contains information and exhibits on the life and culture of China's 56 ethnic groups. The students were so interested in the exhibits that they explored the park for almost four hours! We were able to see live performances from the Tibetan and Hmong ethnic groups as well as see traditional houses and cultural traditions of almost 20 other ethnic groups.
