On est trop hype!
Last Friday, the Global Navigators of Rennes discovered some of the street art on display around the city. We were presented with the authorized AND unauthorized works of graffiti around town. Our tour guide explained that there are about 30 public surfaces designated by the city for street art. We also learned about about a few pieces by locally renowned street artists, like War, that were commissioned by residents, private businesses or the city itself.
Afterwards, it was the Global Navigators turn to leave their mark on the city. The phrase "On est trop hype!" (we're so hype!) was developped from a favorite saying of some members of the group. In the end, the Rennesgades all pitched in to complete the task.
