On est allé à Sceaux!
On Saturday students in the Paris session 2 program caught the RER out of Paris and traveled to Sceaux (pronounced like "so"), a small town and castle! Students took a guided tour where they learned about the history of the castle, which was built by one of Louis 14th's ministers, and was burnt down during the French Revolution. Students saw the grounds, the buildings, and saw a number of water fountains. Students then had a picnic and explored the town of Sceaux! Students had free time with friends, some played soccer, and got to see a different side to French life, as this town was much different than Paris! The students had a great time!
