Discovering Graffiti in Palermo
We had a great time in Palermo taking a walking tour of graffiti in the posh neighborhood. Our guide commented on different types of street art, such as paste-ups, tags, government-sponspored murals and independent pieces.
Students had fun taking pictures of the graffiti as well as of their peers against the stunning backdrops. After our two hour graffiti tour, we stopped for a snack. Students browsed a local feria (street market) before heading back home together on a colectivo (bus).
