Street Art…
Is it art? Or, is it a nuisance?
These are some of the questions we discussed today as our group of Paris explorers travelled to Bercy, a neighborhood in the 12th arrondissement. There, we were met by an authentic Parisian street artist from “Street Art Paris” who showed us how to take an idea, sketch it on paper, and work together to create a mural. Complementing language learning surrounding art and architecture, our afternoon in Bercy gave us a unique perspective on street art in Paris.
