Community Service: Association Vert le Jardin!
Today the students got to see a different side of life in Rennes- we participated in some community service work with an organization called Vert le Jardin! The organization teaches the people of Rennes gardening and composting techniques. The students were split into five groups, and worked together to plant various plants, paint chairs, fixing fences, and various other gardening activities. Although it was hotter than usual today, the students put in a lot of hard work, and were rewarded with refreshments provided by the organization. The students got to make a difference in the local community, and they did a great job!
