Cleaning the Beach
It rained today, slightly rearranging the schedule, but no major changes. We started with an ocean and plastic activity that explained just how much humans impact the environment through plastic. Humans do a lot more than we realize. Following that, we went to a local beach and picked up the trash that we saw. At first, it didn't look like there was any garbage at all, but the waist was definitely prevalent. It was enough to fill several trash bags full. Then we created an art project using the trash we collected to further explain the impact plastic has on the sustainability of our ecosystems.
