Café Tortoni - a classic cultural haunt in Buenos Aires
What a treat this afternoon - churros y chocolate in Café Tortoni, a "bar notable" historically frequented by Argentine authors, musicians, and politicians. Yesterday in the Palacio Sarmiento we discussed a painting of several famous figures spending time in this cafe, so it was fun to visit it in person and taste the offerings.
