Botanical Garden visit
Yesterday, we visited the large botanical garden, Jardin des Serres d’Auteuil, for our cultural activity. The gardens are located on the west side of Paris, near the large park Bois de Boulogne. When we arrived, the students wanted a little bit of downtime, so we took an hour to allow them to sit and chat in small groups, or play soccer.
A little later, we entered the greenhouses to see the plants. The greenhouses are full of plants from all over the francophone (French-speaking) world. Students were also able to see some fish and birds that were housed in the greenhouses.
Vocabulaire importante:
Une fleur - a flower
Arroser - to water
Une plante- a plant
Un jardin - a garden
