Bismillah-Week 1 is almost done!
This week our HSSA Language and Culture students were welcomed by their amazing homestay families and introduced to Moroccan hospitality. Each evening students explore different homestay integration activities to not only enhance their language experience, but their overall cultural immersion as well. This week, our students learned about their homestay members, learned how to make traditional Moroccan mint tea, went on a neighborhood walk with their families and were introduced to the local shop owners in the area. All of these activities that were completed this week will give our students the tools needed to navigate their abroad experience for the next three weeks! Be on the lookout for more blogs as the weeks go past!
