Bentornati a Roma!
For the first time since COVID-19 High School students have returned to the eternal city, Rome.
After a rocky start at the airport due to the Covid test lines, students have safely reached at the campus near the beautiful Villa Sciarra close to the merry Gianicolo.
The first day we had a lot of fun exploring the area near the Australian Catholic University Campus. The first impression of the city was the gorgeous park inside of Villa Sciarra, where students took a glance at Rome's architecture. Since during the orientation students learned Italian numbers, we've organized a game called rubabandiera to practice them in a fun way.
Today we had our first Italian classes and the first workshop: following Michelangelo's steps students created their own frescos.
Tomorrow we'll have a picnic in Villa Pamphili, which is the largest landscaped public park in Rome.
