Basket Weaving and Service Work
Students continue to embark on an adventure in Ghana as Global Navigators. Some of the activities that they are exploring include dancing, basket weaving lessons, and participating in service at the Future leaders community school. The global navigators learn different dances from University of Ghana School of Performing Arts. Whereas Madam Beatrice Baako takes the students through basket weaving lessons. The passion behind the basket weaving is to raise funds for Kisseman Children Foundation. Students get the opportunity to build basic basket weaving skills through her instruction and guidance. Students serve at Future leaders by teaching subjects like English, Math, Spanish and Chinese. Additionally the students learn and play games with the children.
