Museo de Bellas Artes de Sevilla - Museum of Fine Arts

This week our different groups have visited the Museum of Fine Arts in Seville. The museum is a piece of art by itself because it is an ancient convent that has been used as the home of art since 1835.

In this beautiful place located in the city center, we can find artwork from the Middle Ages, the Renaissance or the Sevillian Baroque. One of the most prominent artists is Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, a Sevillian Baroque painter. In the museum we find some of his many religious-themed works that he made.

Guided by experts, our students followed a tour focused on learning about different painting techniques. To make the tour even more interesting, we all played a game called SELFIES, where they had to imitate the paintings. Here you can see some examples.
