Afternoon Excursions!
This week, we got visited an awesome art installation exhibition near the edge of town: Dark Matter. Students were so impressed with the level of engagement and interaction with the art pieces. Many were able to experience the multi-media content and reflected on the ways in which their senses were used in each room.
In terms of the business learning and seeing side, students went to visit one of Germany's largest second-hand clothing store's warehouse. Here, they went on a tour and saw firsthand how the secondhand industry operates behind the scenes. Students asked some fantastic questions and engaged in a conversation about business aspects, such as employee training and retention, international trade and partnerships, and efficiency and carbon footprint.
