Active Service Site Intro
Today we had the awesome opportunity to go to our active service site and meet some of the students and leadership we'll be working with there! We listened to some of the students at the youth center talk about the work that Session I was able to do. We were also able to take a look at the public school across the street where we'll be working. After coming back to the center, we discussed the difference between the service learning we'll be doing and other types of service abroad. Visiting the center helped students to get excited about starting their active service tomorrow.
We also started Darija class! The students are doing a great job trying to learn words and phrases in Moroccan Darija. Hopefully they are all practicing their new conversations from class with thier host families tonight.
