When you are a Global Intern in Singapore, the possibilities are endless.  From beautiful landscapes and lush green spaces by the water, historic landmarks, and fresh seafood galore, there is so much to see - and eat. We have put together an itinerary for 24 hours in Singapore, as well as some other not-to-miss attractions around the city and surrounding areas. We are curious what your favorites will be from Singapore! Now it's time to get out there and explore...

9:00 AM

What do you get when you cross the old City Hall with the Old Supreme Court buildings? That's right - The National Gallery of Singapore. Grab your walking shoes and head on over to explore the historic buildings and some of Singapore's richest history, all in once place. See some of the world's most famous Southeastern Asian Art influences and enjoy walking the hallways checking out the bright colors and special exhibitions.

Pro tip: you can book a guided tour and buy your tickets ahead of time to help plan your day!

Does history make you hungry, too? If so, take your adventures with you over to Chinatown and grab some lunch! Enjoy walking around and trying culinary delights and bargaining with street vendors. You can easily walk over from The National Gallery by using these walking directions (pro tip - save this Google Map to your phone when you have WiFi so you can navigate the city like a local!). Hopefully you washed up before your next stop. You wouldn't want the animals at the Singapore Zoo to start looking for their lunch... Head on over to check out some of Asia's most unique creatures at this fascinating zoo with plentiful open aire areas, tons of green space, and views of the water. You may even become so zen with the animals and natural surroundings you could mistake it for a botanical garden oasis.

Pro tip: Check ahead of time to see if that White Tiger you have been itching to see is up for your visit.

The best view of Singapore and the beautiful island nation hails from Marina Bay. Home to many luxurious resorts, restaurants and shops, Marina Bay is sure to leave you feeling rich in culture.  Catch a sunset from this new downtown of Singapore, by riding the Singapore Flyer - the tallest observation wheel in Asia.
