Internship overview

As a Seed Coach Intern you will assist young women of color in transforming her passion and dreams into a powerful story for her college and scholarship application. Seed Coach Intern will be provided the opportunity to instruct scholars in the area of the college application process, build relationships with local political officials, college admission offices, event planning and develop business acumen.
Responsibilities:

• Plan workshops for College Prep Boot Camp including ordering supplies, checking in with participants, assisting in planning annual college tour
• Instruct a class during College Prep Boot Camp
• Learn political advocacy
• Administrative tasks
• Annual intern presentation

Suggested qualifications

• Genuine passion for youth empowerment and helping others
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately
• Interest in current events and education policy
• Strong writing skills
• Relevant majors: business, marketing/PR, psychology, nursing, political science
