Internship overview
Our internship program is robust, filled with interns from around the world. We pride ourselves on the fact that our interns do real work and make a valuable difference to the company and our clients. This is a hands-on learning experience in understanding how a nonprofit actually runs. We are seeking development interns to apply for grants, plan and execute fundraising strategies, and develop the future of Good Counsel's financial success as well as that of our clients. Potential responsibilities include:
- Researching and meeting with potential funders
- Writing and applying for grants
- Planning fundraising campaigns
- Managing donor database
Suggested qualifications
- Independent, self-directed, takes initiative
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Passionate about nonprofit or social impact work
- Positive team member and collaborator
