Arts Program Management Internship - Free Arts NYC

Company overview

The mission of Free Arts NYC is to empower underserved youth through art and mentoring programs to develop their creativity, confidence, and skills to succeed. Free Arts Days are one time events sponsored by a corporation, group or individual. At the events, we pair elementary-aged youth 1:1 with adult volunteers. Together they engage in a day of art-making and “mini-mentoring.” Free Arts Days give youth the opportunity to explore a variety of art materials with the individual support of a caring adult. We run approximately 80 Free Arts Days each year, serving about 2,000 youth annually.
