Sara G.

Sara is a participant in CIEE's Teach English in Spain program. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, and earned her bachelor's in Neuroscience and Spanish from Smith College in Northampton, MA. Upon graduating, she worked in research but felt called to pursue her lifelong dream in living abroad. Having ancestral ties in Latin America and Spain in combination with the lack of a study abroad experience due to the pandemic, CIEE's Teach English in Spain program was strongly appealing to accomplish this goal. Sara is TEFL-certified and currently works with English learners ages 3-6. She has been thoroughly enjoying her experience in Madrid, and when not in the classroom, you can find her trying new restaurants, attending concerts, and solo traveling around Europe.
