Lucía Agüero

Lucía Agüero has a BA in Latin American Spanish and Literature and a MA in Creative Writing. She is the author of poems and short stories published in several anthologies. Her passion for the Spanish language and Latin American culture has taken her to teach Spanish as a Second Language, Spanish for Heritage Speakers, and Intercultural Communication in North America and Europe. Originally from Argentina, she is currently the Center Director of CIEE Santiago in Dominican Republic where she lives with her two daughters and her husband.
