When in Madrid
When in Madrid, you have to have churros con chocolaté! We had the pleasure of having a local chef teach us how to make churros. We all started with a bowl of flour, pinch of salt, and hot water. We mixed all the ingredients together to form the dough, we had to make sure that the dough was the correct consistency. Next we put the dough in a churriria to create the shape, and we put them in the deep fryer. Finally we enjoyed our handmade churros with chocolate sauce, a staple of Madrid. They were delicioso!
