When 15 turns into 50
On Thursday we set out to one of the Secondary schools with the idea that about 15 girls were interested in starting a soccer team at their school. We were happily surprised to see that by the time our training ended we now had 50 girls playing with us! Our mornings over the next few weeks consist of working with multiple schools who are all interested in strengthening their sports programs for girls. Every day will be a bit different, which is certain to bring new challenges, opportunities, and even a surprise or two; just like today.
