Welcome to Japan!
Week one is in full swing! Here are a few photos from our first day. In between orientation sessions we had a chance to visit Narita Temple. We're a large group, and students are meeting many peers that have similar interests. As program leaders, it is fun to watch students make these connections and make them ourselves as well. Students have started their Japanese language classes and are becoming familiar with the trains and how we'll move around the city. They are trying new foods, living in a dorm setting and following our daily schedule while getting through the end of their jet lag. We're impressed with the positive attitudes we're seeing along with lots of enthusiam!
