After students headed inside to visit the Book of Kells exhibition and got a first hand view of the 9th century manuscript. The Book of Kells is housed inside the Old Library buidling at the College and is a Gospel Book containing the four Gospels of the New Testament. The name Book of Kells orgininates from the Abbey of Kells in Country Meath, which was the books home for centuries. Students also got to enter inside the main chamber of the Old Library known as the Long Room. It is filled with 200,000 of the library's oldest books which matched with its impressive architecture makes its a real "must see" when in Dublin.
