Visit to Oxford
Friday's excursion included a visit to Oxford by way of the London Tube and then a local train. Students enjoyed walking around Oxford before our walking tour. We were split into two groups for our literary walking tour of Oxford and learned about how Oxford is home to some of the most celebrated libraries in the world. Some of the buildings have been in continuous use since the middle ages. After the tour, students had additional time to look in the historical bookstore, Blackwell's. The day was hot and the students kept a good chin up in the heat of the day. They are slowly getting used to walking and the local trains of London.
